"Piece of Your Heart" featuring Goodboys is where you begin. This is non-negotiable. It's the song that introduced Meduza to the world in 2019. Number two on the UK Singles Chart, number one on the US Dance Charts. Two billion streams. Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Everything else makes more sense once you've heard this first.
Straight into the follow-up
Move without stopping into "Lose Control" featuring Becky Hill and Goodboys. It's the song that proved Meduza's breakthrough wasn't a one-off. Number eleven in the UK, number one on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart, over a billion Spotify streams. Hearing these two back to back tells you almost everything about Meduza's sound. The way they sit around a vocal. How they build pressure and release. The polish underneath the energy.
Branch out to the writers
Once you've got the two breakthrough hits down, move to "Paradise" with Dermot Kennedy and "Tell It to My Heart" with Hozier. Both show a different side of what Meduza can do. More emotional, less pure club-focused. And they prove Meduza can work with voices that aren't typical dance-pop features. Singer-songwriters with their own identity, not just hired vocals.
The full picture
From here, the self-titled double EP "Meduza", released February 2023, is the natural next step. It's multi-platinum and gold certified, and it's the fullest picture of where the trio's sound had developed by that point. Everything they learned from those two breakthrough hits, applied across a longer project.
