ANOTR: Songs and Collaborations
Two Dutch DJs turned groovy house into a 2026 global hit with Talk to You, then showed you can build a whole body of work on groove.
The breakthrough moment
If a huge, sing-along dance track caught you off guard on a night out in 2026, there's a good chance it was ANOTR's "Talk to You" featuring 54 Ultra. Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney, both from Amsterdam, just had one of dance music's biggest breakthrough moments. It hit number 1 on the WARM Global Dance Radio chart and climbed to number 21 on the UK Singles Chart. That's the song to start with if you're new to them.
Who they actually are
ANOTR is a Dutch duo built on a simple idea: groovy, minimal tech and deep house with disco, funk and soul running through it underneath. They've been at it since 2015, and in 2017 they founded NO ART, their own label and festival in Amsterdam. A way of building a home for the sound they were chasing rather than waiting for someone else to make space for it. If you like Disclosure, Soulwax or Caribou, you're already halfway to loving ANOTR.
The sound before the breakthrough
Before 2026, "Relax My Eyes" with Abel Balder, released in 2022, put them on the radar for people who were paying attention. It peaked at No. 33 in the UK and showed the hypnotic, groove-heavy foundation they'd been building on. "Silver Lines" with Emily Warren, another 2026 highlight, rounds out the trio that matters most: three tracks that show the full scope of what they do.
Collaboration is the whole point
ANOTR rarely work alone, and that's by design. Each collaborator brings something different. Their 2025 album "On A Trip", written during creative retreats in Ibiza, Los Angeles and the Netherlands, pulled in Cimafunk, PAMÉ and Leven Kali. Then came "Withness" in 2026. Three studio albums showing a duo that's comfortable evolving without losing the groove that got them there.
