Water Rescue Event

The Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service are delivering a free event to raise awareness about the risks of accidental drowning.
There will be a live demonstration of a fireboat river rescue, fire cadets, a number of stalls and the chance to see inside of a fire engine.
The family-friendly event will take place between 11am and 3pm with the fireboat rescue expected to begin at 11:30am. We look forward to seeing you there!
