A Festive Pop-Up Food Market Celebrating Local Flavours
A festive pop-up community market is bringing some of the best food and drink traders from across the North East together this coming Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
Expect a brilliant mix of brewers, bakers, cheesemongers and street food vendors, all carefully curated by Local Heroes NE to showcase and support new and emerging local businesses. It’s the perfect chance to discover festive treats, artisan produce and something delicious to eat on the day.
Alongside the food, there’ll be an art market by Art Café Sunderland and live entertainment will run across the day. You will find performances from Houghton Brass, the Salty Seabird Choir, and the Absolute Cabaret Choir. Families are welcome too, with appearances from Santa Claus and storytelling sessions for children.
