South Tyneside Festival - Dance Revival

Get ready for an afternoon full of your favourite 90s pop and dance anthems as we take a trip down memory lane at South Tyneside Festival's Dance Revival. Don't forget your dancing shoes as Bents Park will be filled with the sounds of legendary tunes from some of the best acts of the decade, including D:Ream with their number 1 hit "Things Can Only Get Better", Kelly Llorenna, veteran of the UK trance-pop scene and original vocalist of "Set You Free" and Whigfield who scored a number 1 hit with "Saturday Night" in 1994. Also joining the Dance Revival Day will be British singer, musician, and DJ Sonique, best known for her 2000 international hit single "It Feels So Good", along with multi-platinum dance acts Phats and Small, well known for hits including Turnaround, Feel Good, Tonite and This Time Around. Music commences around 1.45/2pm, with short change overs in between acts, before finishing at approximately 4.30pm
