Sandcastle Competition 2025

The Whitley Bay Chamber of Trade Sandcastle Competition is back!
The free, family-friendly event kicks off on Whitley Bay Beach (beside the Rendezvous Café) from 10am on Sunday 10th August.
To take part you’ll need to register your group at the registration table and then you’re free to create your masterpieces. Judging begins at 1 pm.
There are 2 categories:
BEST SANDCASTLE
BEST SAND SCULPTURE
Winners will receive Whitley Bay Gift Vouchers.
Don't forget your bucket and spades!
