Remembrance Service & Parade - Houghton le Spring

The parade of brass band, veterans, community groups, wreath layers and civic dignitaries will travel along Newbottle Street *around* 09:30 for St Michael's Parish Church and the traditional Church of England Remembrance Sunday Service.
The wreath laying and traditional 2 minutes silence will take place at Houghton's Cenotaph at 11:00, which we will broadcast live on Facebook for those who cannot attend in person.
Houghton Great War Exhibition will be on display in The Broadway, opposite Houghton's Cenotaph, featuring photographs of some of our brave soldiers from World War I and other conflicts.
We will remember them.
