Grab your wellies & head to WWT Washington this February half-term to get stuck in with Mudfest – where messy means fun! It's running between 21st February-1st March 2026 10am - 4.30pm.

No one does mud quite like WWT Washington. It’s the stuff these super-powered wetlands (& great family adventures) are made of. Muddy activities for kids of all ages -make it, mix it, mould it & build with it, sling it, paint it & jump in it.

Free for WWT Members. Mudfest is included in your entry ticket.

Wear waterproofs, wellies, and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy. But DON'T WORRY! Our activities are carefully designed so that children (and adults!) can join in without getting overly messy if you’d prefer to stay clean. Messy fun is optional, not compulsory!
