Hopetown Darlington - Playtown

Playtown at Hopetown Darlington is an immersive indoor playscape designed around discovery, learning and adventure.
The Exhibition Hall in the historic Carriage Works has been transformed into an exciting zone-based playscape.
There are lots of different areas to Playtown, you will find:
- "The Station" where you can role play with dressing up clothes, food and luggage.
- "Village Green" with lots of games to play
- "Young Drivers Zone" where you can practice driving the sit on tractors and diggers
- "Art School" to help develop design and building skills with sand and toys.
- "Quiet Area" including a sensory den and fidget toys.
Aimed at under 7's, the event is free of charge although booking is recommended.
