Halloween Workshops & Parade Week
Friday 31 October, 12:00
Taking place from Tuesday 28th October - Friday 31st October, you will find "A Spooktacular Week of Halloween & Day of the Dead Fun!"
Get yourself along for a week-long celebration that blends the spooky spirit of Halloween with the vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) — all leading up to a spectacular community parade on Friday 31st October at 3:00PM.
The event is packed with FREE daily drop-in workshops where children and families can get creative making:
-
Paper skulls and spooky decorations
-
Traditional marigold flowers and colourful tissue designs
-
Halloween-themed masks and headpieces to wear in the parade
-
Sugar skulls to decorate
At the heart of it all is a giant, ever-growing Ofrenda – a colourful altar that blends Halloween humour with the spirit of remembrance. Add your own handmade touches throughout the week!
Then, on Friday 31st, join the costumed dancers, live music, and themed parade trolley for a magical, slightly spooky celebration perfect for the whole family.
