Emergency Services Day
Come and celebrate our local heroes in the community and show your appreciation for our emergency services.
County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service will have firefighters on hand and will have a special fire appliance and fire engine on show.
A range of emergency service vehicles will be on display – subject to operational commitments. Staff from the council’s civic enforcement and CCTV teams will also be on hand, along with representatives from Northumbria Blood Bikes and the Office of the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner.
Get up close to vehicles, do some shopping on local stalls and get involved in some activities. Young visitors can also enjoy free face painting and a balloon artist. Running on Sat 31st May 10am - 3pm.
