To open Newcastle Puppetry Festival 2023, head to Northumberland Street in the heart of the Newcastle to discover a menagerie of beasts. Completely free to attend, this fantastic Easter Parade will be full with street performances throughout the day including seahorses, life size dinosaurs and a very friendly octopus. With music and some fantastic surprises! At 2pm Wor Seahorse Spectacle will shine a bright and colourful light on Newcastle’s maritime heritage, Roman mythology and Geordie pride. Featuring 120 participants, giant puppets and music.
