Dragon Boat Race

The fun starts from 9am at this years Newcastle Dragon Boat Festival taking place on Saturday 28th September between the Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge.
The charity challenge will see the most adventurous of teams paddle down the River Tyne in the dragon-themed boats. Alongside the race, there will be loads of fun activities taking place along the Quayside for those staying dry on land.
This year's Dragon Boat Race will be supporting the work of Newcastle Hospitals Charity, an incredibly important charity making a real difference for the patients, staff and communities of Newcastle Hospitals.
