The perfect entry
Press play on "I Adore You" (2024) first. This is HUGEL's biggest moment and his most accessible sound right now. Melodic, festival-scaled, and the clearest signal of what he's building toward. It features Topic, Arash and Daecolm, and it's good enough that the industry immediately spun off alternate versions with J Balvin and Ellie Goulding. Why go backward
Once that track lands, rewind to 2018 and "Bella Ciao". This remix of the Italian folk classic became an official German summer hit and went platinum across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It's the other side of HUGEL. His ear for turning something familiar into a dancefloor moment. It's also where his crossover moment began, the track that put him on the map outside France. These two songs are six years apart, and hearing them back-to-back shows you how his thinking has evolved.
Adding the ground
"Morenita" (2021) comes next. This is the sound that underpins his Ibiza residencies at Ushuaia and Pacha. Latin house and Afro house rhythms, less about the pop hook and more about the groove. Add "I Believe I'm Fine" (2017, with Robin Schulz) to finish the arc, and you hear how his sound has moved from melodic house in 2017 toward the tribal and Latin roots that really anchor his Ibiza work.
Beyond these four
Once those tracks make sense together, his debut album, Twenty One, with guests including Big Sean, French Montana and Snoop Dogg, is the natural next stop. You'll understand why he could pull in hip-hop heavyweights alongside his usual dance-world partners. His production had already proven it could travel.
