Ever wondered how many times you have actually heard that song? We had a dig through the Frisk year so far, and some of these are brilliant.
So we went digging through the year so far. Some of it we expected. Some of it made us laugh out loud. All of it is your 2026, whether you were paying attention or not.
18 Weeks in the Top Three
Bebe Rexha & Faithless, New Religion came into the Hot 30 back in March at number 18. A week later it was at 6. A week after that, 4.
It has been sat in the top three ever since. Eighteen straight weeks, 23 weeks on the chart in total, and it still has not been shifted. That is your voting, not ours.
3,833. Your Most-Played Act
David Guetta, and it is not close. What is mad is that he got there across 26 different records. Becky Hill, Teddy Swims, Jennifer Lopez, take your pick. If there is a big dance record this year, there is a decent chance he is somewhere on it.
1,280, All On Her Own
Taylor Swift is ninth on the year, which sounds unremarkable until you notice she is the only act in the top ten who never once shared a credit. Everybody else got there with help. She did not.
One in Seven Is a Proper Oldskool Tune
Flashbacks made up 14.4% of everything we played. So roughly one record in seven is the one that makes you reach for the volume and say "get in".
The most played of the lot? MC Sar & The Real McCoy, Run Away. Right behind it, all within a few plays of each other, sit Red 5 - I Love You Stop!, Fragma - Toca's Miracle and Evoke - Arms of Loren. Which is a very good four minutes of anybody's Saturday.
Three and a Half Days Without a Repeat
1,485 different songs have been on Frisk this year. Line them up end to end and you could listen for eighty three hours straight before you heard the same one twice.

That is how many songs go out on Frisk every single day. While you are asleep, while you are at work, while you are doing the big shop. It does not stop.
A Dead Heat, at 402 Each
Two records finished the year so far on exactly the same number. Taylor Swift, Opalite and Raye, Where Is My Husband in the Cosmic Dawn Remix, both on 402 plays.
Out of tens of thousands of songs, those two landed on the identical figure. We could not have arranged that if we tried.
And Four Months Still to Go
