Then came lockdown, and Billy did something most dance producers didn't. He opened his studio on TikTok. Filmed himself building tracks from scratch. Uploading sessions. No filter. No marketing angle. Just a producer at work.

DNA and the mainstream turn: 2023
DNA (Loving You), featuring Hannah Boleyn, arrived in 2023. It reached number 9 in the UK chart and went platinum, passing 600,000 combined sales and streams. That single is the reason Big Beat Records/Atlantic signed him. That single changed the shape of his career.
We Had It All and FRQNC: Billy on his own terms
Now, in 2026, Billy stepped away from the major-label machine. He launched FRQNC, his own imprint, built around emotion, nostalgia and human connection rather than chasing trends.
